It has been a long time since I last wrote on my blog. To put it worse, I forgot my pass on my previous blog that I have to make the new one. I know that they say the older you are, the busier you will be. However, I have spare my time to give you a review on one of my lip make up.
I will review Maybelline New York “New Water Shine Pure” with natural water and minerals. Here I have got shade number B24 which is light pink that is commonly used by teenagers to young-adults.
This is not a new product. As you know this is the trend color of last year when the K-pop with main shade of light pink boomed. I got this as a birthday present and find it unfortunate if I do not review it for you.

The first time I opened the wrap and put it on the top of the table, the case look too classic. Not being rude, but the case in one side is so simple, but on other perspective, the case looks like the one used by mothers. Thanks God they still have the brand on as the proof it is a good cosmetic. For those who like simplicity the case will be a perfect match. However, to use it in front of your friends, the case will not add more plus point. The tip is quite pointy that can help during the application following your shape of lip. In addition, comparing the price and the amount of the
product, it is considered affordable for high-scholars.

Reviewing the color itself would look vivid when applied on hand. The shade do not look as bright as the one shown on the label. But for everyday use, it will be in between: can be seen but not too much. For comparison I will show the color of Revlon’s crayon glitter pink pale and lip balm of Nivea Cherry Blossom which I commonly use every day to see the vividness.

The color of lip balm is the most subtle, then the crayon lipstick then Maybelline New York “New Water Shine Pure”. Since I am an Asian, I would tell you from my perspective. Wearing an “almost cannot be seen” lip product will only be pleasing if they look like the natural color of Asian’s Lip. Unfortunately for Lip Balm, it feels more like using transparent lip balm. For the crayon lip, the pink is too pale. Besides, since it is dry, the application of transparent lip balm is needed before using it which make you work twice. The Maybelline New York “New Water Shine Pure” in other hand have a quite satisfying color. It is also moist since the water content is quite high. It will feel like applying lip balm and lipstick in one run. Besides, the color is not too pale and feel like the natural color of lip. It is slightly pink can create girlish vibe around you.
On the picture below, I use the Maybelline New York “New Water Shine Pure” on lower lip and crayon lipstick for the upper lip. The color of upper lip seems separated with the natural color of the lip. Meanwhile on the other photo I use both upper and lower lip with Maybelline New York “New Water Shine Pure” and it looks just perfect. I would gladly recommend this product for everyday use since the color is surely tempting, the water content and minerals that will also help treat lips and the blend of shades that will not ruin the appearance from morning to night. In addition to that, you can easily find Maybelline New York “New Water Shine Pure” in nearby stores such as Giants, Carrefour or other retail supermarkets.
